2 black Swans

19-year-old twins, Luna and Emma have been living on their own in Copenhagen since they were 16. They left their childhood home because they needed a place where people would be more open-minded, where they could be free and be themselves without constantly being judged. They have spent their lives together since they were little. They even share the same bed in a room they rent from an old lady and go to the same school. Their passions are identical, whether it’s photography, parties, boys, their jobs, the way they dress in black ...

But what links them most is painting. The adrenalin always pushes them further. Highly organized and patient, they are risk-averse, as evidenced by one of their paintings, which they painted over a period of 4 months. In Copenhagen, there are only four girls practicing this discipline. They are fighting to get more girls into it, but it’s very complicated because of the fear, the danger and the constant sexism in this field.
