BONTLE

This is the first trailer created before securing funding to help finish my film, Bontle. This documentary is a deeply personal journey about the year I spent living in the townships of Soweto, South Africa, at the age of 18.

After experiencing a traumatic event there, I met five skateboarders who helped me rise up and continue moving forward in my life. Four years later, I returned to film them.

I want to clarify that this trailer does not fully represent the current state of the film, but it showcases my technical approach to filming solo under various conditions.

The completed film will be presented at festivals in 2025.
