Portfolio for Art Galleries, Exhibitions & Collectors
This portfolio presents a carefully curated selection of photographs from two regions that have profoundly shaped my work: Africa and the Nordic countries. Through these images, I explore human resilience, cultural identity, and the deep connection between people and their environments.
As a photojournalist and documentary filmmaker, I split my time between Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe, capturing untold stories with an immersive and ethical approach. My work has been exhibited in Belgium, France, and Denmark, and I collaborate with agencies such as Divergence and AFP.
One of the projects closest to my heart is Bontle, a personal documentary I worked on for five years. It was a profound journey that also challenged me to reflect on how I capture the African continent through my lens. This led me to focus my thesis on the methods and perceptions of European photojournalists working in Africa. I also offer training and courses on the ethics of photojournalism in Africa, aiming to represent the continent in a more authentic and nuanced way.
In this selection, you will find photographs that reflect my long-term commitment to storytelling—from South Africa, where I lived at 18, to the icy landscapes of the North, where I studied and continue to document disappearing communities.
Each image is an invitation to see the world through the eyes of those who live it. I am always open to collaborations and new exhibition opportunities. Feel free to reach out.
